The Environmental Impact of Pig Farming

This study aimed to develop a methodology evaluate the protection of animals and people from harmful effects farm’s microclimate environment, taking into consideration energy, economic environmental indicators. To achieve this goal, following were determined for 2019 eight countries which are world leaders in field pig farming: volumes carbon dioxide pollution, ammonia, dust manure, analytical dependencies between feed consumption, productivity concentration ammonia inside farm. The weight gain pigs reduced by 15% with an increase internal air livestock houses 20 mg/m3 , but wastage increased 12%. Mathematical models developed estimate relationships gas (ammonia) is one main parameters microclimate. results will be used making technical technological decisions microclimate, cleaning disposal farm manure.
